Any know how to S/A a modded cap?

Might have been asked before, but I have a Mod Quad end cap and need to to be "modified" with some type of spark arrestor. Has anyone had any luck in fabricating some type of screen to help pass the "stick test" that they do at Silver Lake Michigan?

Whats the stick test?
Is it as it sounds ie they can get a stick down there it fails?
If so why not get a thin piece of gause and cut a disc out that will have its edges trapped by the end cap when it fits on with the bolts (4) going through it it should hold ok.
This is not tried and tested only a suggestion

Dingo2,
ive heard to use the screen from a strainer. the wire is firm and seems durable and should get you through the stick test. I tried window screen a long time ago and its does not last long it burns up. after you cut the screen out try to plase the whole thing over the muffler end then put the cap over that to hold it in place. take a extra one w/ you incase the first fails.

You can use aluminum screen or you can use stainless steel from a kitchen sifter. Both can be found at your locale Walmart super center.
I suggest you make a bowl effect so some of the screen kind of bows out a little. This makes them easy to see and they wont go poking on it if they can see it in plain view.
Follow this link, ignore the quite core attached to the spark arrestor, just notice the screen end and how it bows out, this is very good and easly visable. If they see screen they wave you right on through the check point.

I'll be posting pics of a end cap with a 5" supertrap disksystem tonight, riding with the kids today, and the bike seems to run clean running 12 disks, Im also making it so I can change to an open end for Glamis.
