The guy is posting under the name 28mins which is clearly a reference to the famed 14mins of Raptordome. The same 14mins of the Aledo races that have been rained out twice now. So 14mins is who 28mins is refering to as "mini me". 14X2=28 or 14minsx2=28mins.


A breif history, 14mins and the Aledo Trailer Park Trash group had a big time rivalry going with a group called The Compound. In the Compound the 2 main guys were Zombie and Velocityraptor (Jay). Jay and 14Mins raced and things got ugly, then they grew up and I think things got better but that never happend with Zombie. They were to race at one time and I dont remember what all happend but for somereason it never did happen. We havent seen nor heard from Zombie on this forum for some time now and I think it just kinda went away.

So just from being an outsider and looking in, If I remember correctly, Zombie was from Nebraska. He is the only one I know of that wanted a peice of 14mins so bad that he would actually go as far as saying 14mins is his "mini me". Then in his signature he referes to one of his rator as being "tuned". "Tuned" was a term that the compound used alot, inparticulary Jay who referd to his raptors as "tuned" and "tunedx2" but his quad was stolen. So as an outsider looking in and making a few observations, the first and still the only person to have came to mind is Zombie and yes Zombie is a "drag freak". Not trying to start anything what so ever and if 28mins is indeed not Zombie then my sincerest appologies.

 

That makes perfect sence...Demon Ds I would say you hit the nail on the head just by reading whay 28 min is saying.

I don't think it's Zombie. My first guess was that it's 14mins but I don't think it's him either.

 

The fastest Raptor Ive seen in NE. was buiult by robertson cycle and it is dang fast. Schmee, we dont come close to the alky DS from GI. He beats me by about 4-5 lengths everytime [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] ......for now anyway.

Hey guys, thanks for the history of the dueling teams. Who ended up winning?


By the way, I'm not either of the guys that you are refering to. But I would like to race them with a very well tuned machine {that is how my builder describes his work}.
