Is anyone going to Silver Lake in September? I am going either the 10 thru 12 or 24 thru 26. Would be nice to ride with some people from the forum. Thanks

 

I want to go up the 24th - 26th if I can talk my buddy into going. I need his truck cause I don't have one anymore. so if I can talk him into it we'll be there.

I'll post again when I find out if he wants to go.

We're going this weekend..Labor Day weekend. Should be fun assuming we can even get a voucher!

 

I wouldn't mind going labor day, but I never got any reservations so I am probably SOL.

Camds650 maybe the 2nd date you mentioned I can go.

 

Not to rub it in..but what are reservations...the wifes family has 3 cabins in a row about 1/2 mile from the dunes! Bad thing is we have a 6-7 hour drive..

I'm alittle worried about my first drag vs my buddies newly "piped" and jetted YFZ...he just put on a Dr. D (Dubach) racing slip on and it seems to run pretty strong...we'll have to see what happens!

For any one going the 10th-12th, the competition hill climb is that weekend. They use the side facing the parking lot of the exit hill. Which is long and steep. Probably the closest to big hill racing you'll see around these parts. Haven't decided if I'm going yet, have a couple guys going up saturday, might go with them or just go up sunday.
