just was working on the ds and i noticed a little play in the axle thats normal right? doesnt seem like i need bearings i just did them a few months ago [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] could someome pm me with the part number to those bearings that begin with a T timkien or something last time i went with the factory ones and they were 100 bucks

 

Your axle bearings may or may not be bad. Try tightening your axle nut first, that could be your problem.

what year is it? some are different, I have a 2000, and you loosen the axle nut ( the big odd shaped thing next to the rotor) turn it counter clockwise. Make it hand tight, then tighten it maybe an 1/8 of a turn, then tighen the bolt on the axle nut. make sure it spins freely. Do this before you ride it or you will trash your bearings.
