mine actually caught on fire while out riding once. the worse part was it was my kid riding it while i was being towed back on his blaster, he jumped off as i watched my quad run off in smoke. i spliced in copper tubing in that area never had a problem since actually did it to both ds's so it wouldn't happen again.
