awesome man. Every banshee rider usally says the ds feels slow, but i think its just because they know its faster
. So how do you like the bad boy and how does it compare to your old banshee? The first mod would have to be air filter!

I wonder if scooby would buy another DS650? I'd be kinda worried with all the problems he has with his. You shoulda waited until the Raptor came out so as to be able to make an informed decision on which is the best bike. Oh well, you probably don't like to hear it, but that's just my 2 bits worth. I sure know which bike I would rather have!

Scott,
From all that I have seen, the vast majority (if not all?) of Scooby's Problems were related more to the RWR Stage 1 Kit he got, which sounds like was a lemon. Other people have applied the kit with much less trouble noting as they have not posted so much information. From what I have read since the DS650's inception, the vast majority of owners have had little to no problems. However, they idea of waiting for the Raptor's release has it's pros and cons, the pros which you pointed out, and the cons which others have pointed out.

Last weekend I took the ds camping for a couple of days the bike is incredible even though I did'nt gas it (because I am braking it in it hauled it can go as fast as the scrambler can half throttle in 4th gear. The handling on this bike is awesome I like the overall handling as much as the 400ex.The surprising thing thing that it runs great here at 5000 ft yet it also ran descent up at 10,000 feet we bought a brand new 2001 xr 250r the same day I got the ds and it ran like crap up there.

Can you wheelie your DS650? If so, what is the highest gear that you are able to pull one. By the way I think the DS... is one bad mother....
Thanks,

Yes I can wheelie my ds up to fourth gear. Fellow ds owners I have a question whenever I hit a bump at any speeds some thing hits and makes a little thunk I looked and I just think the chain hits part of the swingarm protector do any of you notice this.
