Just wondering where everyones going. We were planning on heading to Glamis this year most likely the washes.

 

Im violated that your not going to the laid back Dumont party. Alot of fast contenders show up every year and less hassle of a crowd. JMO- I am going to be at the hill @ Dumont.

 

I'm out for that weekend.

Dumont for me. Still be runing the stage 3 with a busted tranny [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] Thats OK though. I'm getting better and 1st to 3rd. I still win more than I lose. Should be steping up by Turkey Day though and ready to get serious.

Didn't you just take apart your entire tranny, in the process doing a nice write up of it, and ideally fixing it with all of the work you did? What happened?

I'm still not sure where I'm going; I know people going to both places. Though I know someone going to Glamis the weekend BEFORE Oct 31st, which would leave that weekend open for Dumont... Decisions, Decisions...

Where are you camping this trip, at the base of the hill our out on the flats?

 

Maybe we will do Dumont then. Only problem is that freeway is under construction and the traffic gets real bad. Ill talk to Joshie and my old man and see what up.

 

Yea...first time was to replace the shift forks and one gear. The next time was to replace another gear. First time around it held second for a while then started to pop out again. Same with the second time. This third time I got another tranny and have sent it off to MrHp to get the gears back cut / under cut. Which is what I was advised to to on the first go around by DuneMe and others but was to bull headed to listen. Now Im a believer..LOL

I hope to camp by the hill But I doubt I will. I talked to Tony yesterday AND his lady. I think I talked them into making the trip. But I am waiting to see where everyone is camping. We should just get a whole crew to camp near the same area, Whether its at the hill or not. I just want to be as close to the hill as possible. Besides if we camp out on the flats I can always drive the truck and trailer to the hill. I need to talk to bigdaddy and speeedy. There should be a HUGE circle. Bigdaddy has been out sick, ill call him now.

BTW- the wind has blown a LARGE amount of sand in between the finger on the way to comp hill. Its abnormally deep, and I got stuck a few weeks ago for the first time.
