Default swing arm

what should be the clearence my skid plate should be off the ground when i ride it hits every little rock and totals my skid [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

no bodoy can take a look at their quad for me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] is there any way to lift mine so its not so low?

What size rear tires you got on that thing? Sorry I can't measure mine right now, so don't know what it should be. But if you had 22" paddles on it and rode in the dunes you wouldn't have to worry about that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

My old quad was thrashed after riding in New Hampshire for a few years. Damn granite state!

The bearing carrier is egg shaped for chain adjustment. . . do you have the longer part of the lobe aiming down?

If it is aiming down you can gain at least 3/4" by aiming it up and still have your chain adjustment.

i have the dg baja skid and it seems to hit like everyyyy rock out there all i hear is smack smack smack and its beating the crap out of the plate ide say its about 4.5 inchs from the ground

I bet your right...the plate on my DS is super low too. I'm constantly beating it up....I just picked up some 22" holeshots, and they look like they'll definately take care of the problem...they're huge!!!

i do all trail riding would the 22's be a good thing for me? i like to mess around and do some wheelies too will they affect that? and do i need to change the sprockets or?

i'd highly recommend 22" tires for trail riding, gives you that extra clearance that you need for the trails, just order a $13 15t front sprocket from RMATV and you won't notice any difference gearing wise

so some new itp 22 inch and a 15 tooth will be good???
