What mods to do ???????????????????????????
#1
Hey Guys I just got my DS 650 Baja 3 weeks ago. I m the type of guy that like to do mods for speed. I already opened up my stock exhausts end cap. What would you experienced guys recommend next.
BOMBARDIER DS 650 DS650 DYNOJET JET kit
K&N ATV AIR Filter
Hi-Perf ATV Bombardier DS650 & BAJA RECTIFIER
Bombardier DS650 & BAJA Magic Power CDI BOX
Rev Limiter Bombardier DS650 Baja
All of these things above are listed on ebay. There are so many different things it confuses me. What do you think ?

Jet kit- no....just buy the specific jets you need...the kits come with a bunch of useless jets
K&N-no i suggest a carburetor direct mounted UNI angle filter....great setup and much cheaper to buy and maintain
CDI- The stock baja CDI is fine but if you plan on doing internal mods...go for the Ron Woods CDI
Rectifier- stock is fine
Pipe-Invest in a good quality pipe or end cap (Pro Circuit is a good pipe, or HMF those are just my favorites)
You might be hungry for speed but heres a little insurance...your fan will go bad...invest in some radiator shrouds
CT RACING and it will cut back on the amount of time the fan runs...an inline cooler, and some Water wetter, engine ice, or somethin like that.
Re-gear man....drop a tooth in the front
Let the mods begin

Just get the jets like hoover7 said, but leave the lid on with the stock carb. It performs better because the slide works on vacumm pressure. Cut 4 coils off the slide spring to let the slide move up quicker, it will give you better low end power(or I should say quicker low end power). For trail riding K&N, for drag racing No-toil filter. The No-toil is supposed to give a little more power. End cap is supposed to work as good or better than any slip-on from the dyno tests MisterHP did. And a CDI box so you wont bounce off the rev limiter after you do the mods.
