Just put a couple more pics on my page from our Little Sahara trip, and from at our local riding area. All you guys who ride all the time in sand have no idea how nice that would be. The takeoffs are fresh every day, and the landings are sooooooo much better than hard packed dirt. I think we are going down again over thanksgiving.

That is a great track. It is at our local state riding area. All but two of the jumps on the track are uphill doubles with that one being the biggest. It is a blast to ride on and it is the reason that I now need all sorts of new parts for the wheeler.

that kid is pretty stupid ,I know by the looks of that jump you would clear him just by driving up it, but what if by some freakish mecanical stroke of bad luck you didn't clear him? imagine trying to explain that to his parents?
I hate to preach but lets try to teach common sense to kids, there the future of our sport!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, just guess who's idea it was for the kid to be underneath me. Yep, his parents were the ones who took the picture. Anyways, how much more dangerous is this then sticking your kid on a 85 motorcycle and have them do that jump? There are always risks in life, you either live or die. I don't believe in doing things that are obviously stupid, but this is not a dangerous jump to sit under, I have personally sat under a bunch of people on this jump.

How are those work shocks? Do they hold up the ds's weight after landing big jumps like those ones in your pics?

Do they hold up? That's funny. The day the pictures on dirt were taken, I hit so hard that I ruined the piston in the rear ultracross shock, and blew the bottom seals out of the fronts. I didn't do that on the jump in the pictures, but there is a nasty 40ft. flatland double that I overshot. I think I will be going with elka's next, unless this king shock thing looks promising. I had the works set up for a 300lb rider MX, and they did well until I started going bigger.
