ok i live in minnesota red wing to be exact, where redwing boots are made anyway my ds doesnt seem like it really has arm streatching power from idle to about half throttle, when it gets to half throttle hold on but below that it seems kinda wimpy, my elevation is 700 feet above sea level, i have a 165 main but the temp here is only 50 degrees, i just got this a week or so ago so i wanna get my carb set up right, oh yeah my idle screw is set at 3 1/2 turns out and i am not sure about my needle clip position any suggestions? thanks fellas

ds's are a little bit low on power down low a pipe or endcap can fix that sure did for me

 

oh yeah it has backfired through the carb twice in two weeks when starting when it is cold, i checked my valves and they are good
