I heard over at exriders the jasmin plante (top canada mx pro) is testing a new 450, thats coming out next year.

 

i talked to the bomb rep 2 months ago and he said no. hasnt heard of anything yet!.

 

I think a 450 Bomber would be awesome, I had a DS650 and loved it as much as I could considering it's too big for my type of riding and alittle to big to throw around like I do my Dale or YFZ, but a DS450 would make a lovely addition to my stable. Also I know for a fact that Bombardier was set to release a DS400 two years ago but canned it when they caught wind of the YFZ, so I'm sure a 450 is being tested or atleast one on the drawing board.

That too could be true, maybe alittle of both, I beleive it would stupid of BRP to release the DS400 now unless they price it very low, like right at $5000. I'm sure they know this also.

 

I'd like to see a DS450 based on that crazy Aprilla engine that is super light, dual cylinder, more HP than the Rotax 650. Now that would be worth seeing!!!

FYI - Aprilla was recently boughtout by Peugeot.

 

Anyone see motorweek last week showing a atv/car looking quad made by peugeot. I tried a search but found nothing.

I think the DS650 is only a start for us bomb riders. With talk of the Aprilia and the soon to be released twin cylinder 1000cc 2-stroke snowmobile that is epa compliant.....

umm but rotax already has a 1000cc 2-stroke twin sled motor, its a brand new motor for the new mach z's, and since its new you'd think it'd b epa compliant aswell since they designed the motor with SDI to start with,
