"03 exhaust on 05 Viper"
#1
I have found a killer deal on a white bros pipe and filter, but it states that it is for a 00 to 03 ds. Will this pipe fit on my bike or not? Can't beat the price on it, so I'm hoping that it will fit.

According to white bros website the e series is the only one they make for the bomb. I know there is an r4 and I think an e2 or something for other quads though.
Edit: For the ds the e series lists at 310. I've seen it at 250.

Are you guys sure that this pipe will fit? It is a White Bros R4 for a 00' to a 03'. The guy wants $200 for the pipe and a filter kit with no jets. If I buy this kit will I need to re-jet? Please let me know before someone else buys the pipe.

Come on guys let me know the deal on this. It is a full pipe, not just a slip on. "Will it work"?

IMO. . . Exhaust systems are an item that for me have just seemed to fall apart after a while.
Unlike many items on the quad, exhaust systems just don't seem to hold up that well. I would just caution you in buying a used exhaust system. The packing probably needs to be re-done and it will probably not fit up the way it did when it was new.
I've kind of decided with the riding I end up doing, I'll probably replace my exhaust system about every 4 years.
Just something to think about.

Actually the pipe is brand new, the guy bought the pipe back in 03 and his bike was stolen. Everything is still new in the box. I called White bros about the pipe and they said not to buy it, but im sure that they are looking to make the extra 250 on a new one. I am going to go pick it up today, so thanks for the advise. Also will I need to re-jet when I install this new pipe?
