No i know about the gearing, and debatin a front sprocket as well, but thats not my issue. Id like to get piston and cams, my super gas here is at 92-93 octane, i dunno if thats safe enough to run a 11:5? My main concern is the choice of cams like i said, theres the 109, 109/110, and 110, from what DuneMe said, the 110 is more a top end cam and the 109 is more a bottom end. But do u lose power on top wit the 109 cam?

You have your cams backwards, the 110's are more of a midrange cam and the 109's are more of a top end cam. I have had both sets with a 12.5:1 piston. I have never ran the 109/110.
From what I have seen going from stock cams to 110's to 109's is that the power comes on 1,000 rpms later but pull 1,000 longer. The 110's came on between 5500 - 7500, the 109's run good between 6500 - 8,000.
Pretty much any cam with longer duration will hurt bottom end, but added compression will help bring it back up. So if I were you and I would definately not do cams and stock compression.
You could do the 11:1 piston, dual valve springs, and leave stock cams. Then later if you want to just drop in some cams without having to pull the head off again. Regardless of what people say the valves CAN float with stock cams/springs and no rev limiter. My buddies Stage 1 had the smily faces on the piston to proove it, although luckily no damage was done.
I think you would be happy with the 11:1 and 110's or something equivalent.

Sorry for the late response, but we just got back from Dumont.
MrH doesn't have the kit on his site, but it's real. Seems like it was around $600 for intake/exhaust cams, piston kit, and applicable gaskets. Also, there is a $350 core on your cams.
Our trail kits can run with 150lb yfz riders sporting a cam mod and pipe. Basically comes down to who gets the strong hole shot. For bombs with riders weighing in at 245+ that was cool.
But the best part is being able to snap floaties or wheelies at will when trail riding.

I didn't know HP Research had a dealer out this way. If so, that's great! I think the closer a customer is to their builder the better. Always nice when if you have a problem you can go to the person that sold it ahd get product support.

I noticed my tach here the other day... When I'm dragging, i shift at about 8100, and my rpom's don't drop below 6000.
Now, if thats all I did, sounds like the 109's would be best for me. But for trails and whatnot, sounds like the 110's would be better for peak power a bit lower in the rpm range where I'm not full out. Am I correct? And what does the 109/110 combo do? Anyone know what the A1/A2 cams do or how they relate to the 109/110's?
Someone who has a lot of experience would be greatly appreciated if they could sit down and list the cams, the duration and lift and where the power is. As well as what and where they gain over stock, just so we can comprehend from the lift and duration numbers form this and compare to other cams. Say the 109's have X amount of more duration than the 110's, and the 109's are too low and the 110's are too high or whatever... we look for a cam in the middle.
Get what I'm saying? All I want to know is what cams benifit where over stock in the rpm range, and if applicable, where they lose.
