They have some real thick paddles on them. No experience with them in the snow but from seeing them on other peoples quads they can sure take some abuse. Oh ya they are extremely heavy so I dont think that would help you float on the white stuff.

I ran my sand stars last winter with amazing results. You just have to remember not to spin the tires when the snow is thin. I only road in ditches and roads that were snow covered and there was no wear at all. I plan on doing the same this year, or just take the sled.

Do yourself a huge favor and look into the Maxxis 4 Snow, they are simply unbeatable! I ran them last year in close to a foot of snow and even went on dry pavement for miles at a time and had zero issues or wear. Extremely light and come in 22 inch plus when you get them spinning thew grow substantially adding clearance and spreading out each gear reducing shifts. Can't say enough about these tires! I was actually going just about everywhere my buddy was while on a Rubicon! One more plus, they are prety darn good dirt drag tires as well!

I would sell my realitors, but I dont want you to have the same dissapointment I had with them, they do ok in the snow but not real great. Im shopping for a different set of tires for this winter.

The 4 snows are directional depending on how much traction you need. They are great for dirt drags also. They wont get hard even in below freezing temps. Soft = hookup I love them
