Did any of you guys make it to Glamis this past weekend? I saw lots of DS's out there but never got a chance to meet anybody else. The sand was wet and nasty, and it unless it gets really hot and really windy this week, the dunes are going to be in bad shape for Halloween weekend.

Sounds like it will be perfect to me. The sand dries out fast, but if its still wet, it hooks up really well !!!!!!

There is another storm coming through in Wednesday. More rain...

Which is good for us as the "endangered plants" grow better. Every time it rains, it proves that we riders are not hurting the plants...So rain is good.....

I'm sure the PMV is sprouting all over the place now. I still think it's going to be rough riding this weekend though. Lots of traction, but rough as heck.

Looks like it's going to be comfy as far as temps are concerned....look here..

http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USCA0508.html

My plans got changed, instead of Glamis, my group decided to go to Gordons Well... It was a majority vote...since most aren't leaving until Friday..we're leaving tomorrow around 1700 AZ time.
Though it's the 1st time in many years I've missed Glamis for Halloween, I'll still be in sand.
If anyone see's a motor home flying a big AZ flag, and a DS with ALBA graphics, stop by and introduce yourself.
J.
