Yesterday we went riding (6 atv's) ...
We saw a little challenge for us (a sea)... and we said what the hack... lets go through...
all the quads did ok ( 2 bombs, dvx and 2 ex300) but one DS of one of the guyz...
the ds sinkedd so bad that after we pulled it out of the water, about 1 galon of sea water (salty water!) came out of the exashust! and another half galon from the air filter box (air filter was 100% full of water)...

i was amazed that after being in the water like for a few mins (1 min while engine working! ) we let the ds calm down for 2 mins, hit the starter button and the ds acted like nothing went wrong, she kindda chocked for 2 mins and the drove normally! what do u say about that?!!?!

btw pictures of the diving in My Page... (dont have the 100% ds in the water)!!!!

Around this neck of the woods, the guy driving who gets stuck, has to get his feet wet first before anybody will go help him. That guy sure is lucky to have bud's like you all to help him out. He must of had some really expensive sneakers LOL.

ooooooooooohhh , the HUMANITY !!!!

You know, there is a company that makes quads that are better used for scuba diving in salt water , there called Raptors....heheheheheh.

IF you and your buddys give a snot about your rides lasting more than a few months, you had better strip them down and clean them up. The salt water & grit will eat their way through your rides.

haha yea its usually a kind of natural thing to get off and try and get your own quad out of the water before you have people rushing over to save your socks!

they must have been the slaves

WOW!
First-- none of you guys are wearing helmets!
Second-- salt water?? Everyone who ran through it is in trouble. That will corode the wiring from inside out. Every peice of metal... oh man you guys messed up.
Remember when you buy your next one, not to ride near salt water.

Do you know what industries use to test for corrosion resistance on the toughest metals known to man? Salt!
