I don't have kids but if I did I don't think I would take them to Glamis on a big weekend. It's a total zoo. But anyone who likes to see lots of racing and wild rides needs to go at least once in their life.

If your not going with someone that knows the place and you want to go way out in the dunes get a GPS. There are a couple of sites you can get the #s for all the big spots.

We've found a good place to be on a holiday is the dunes themselves (and as far from Olds as possible).
Everybody congregates at Olds. It's fine for the adults but too risky for the kids.

If you have kids riding around camp it's best to have them ride out in the open, away from bushes and small dune entrances. It gives people running from wash-to-wash a chance to see them. There's plenty of small dunes to take them out on as well. Of course what kid ever gets bored riding on a little oval course they found?
