It sall one piece and its pretty loud, but not anymore than most other 4 stroke pipes. Im not sure how much yet I havent checked into a new one yet. It does not have a spark arrestor.

Just got back from Alba with there pipe on my stock DS with only a K&N filer. I pick up 12.5 H.P on the low end and 3 H.P. top end max out at about 45 H.P. Did one Dyno run with BMW F650 CDI box not change in H.P. but did not have shift as fast cause the power now comes on quicker.

You picked up 12.5 HP with only their pipe? Or was that 12.5 HP with their pipe and your K&N filter? I guess my question is was that 12.5 number based on a stock DS, or your DS with the stock pipe and your K&N filter? Any jetting change? If so, was it a larger mikuni jet or an Alba jet kit?

Do you have the dyno chart that we can all see?

Do you have any pictures of the pipe?

Does the pipe have a spark arrestor?

How loud is it in comparision to the stock pipe or other pipes?

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks.

It was 12.5 up from stock with just the pipe and K&N filter and changed the main jet to a 167.5 any more question call Alaba at (619-486-4380). I due not have photos of the pipe, but it is 3 in megaphone the runs parallel to the top fram rail just under the fender it ends at the end of the grab bar. I have 18 disc on the suppertrape S/A.

Was the airbox lid on? I have a big gun and really like it. I am thinking about the spark arrester though because I'll be hunting with it shortly. I am going to take the lid off and rejet to see what happens, on our 400exit helped alot.

CalSD welcome to the board... I'm local to Alba as well (I live just outside of Poway). If you ride in Glamis or other dunes let me know... Over in the Yamaha forum there is a post about Glamis... check it out.
