650 keeps dying

Maybe the float is sticking closed or the needle is obstructed and not flowing very much ( float bowl fills slowly then it runs until the bowl is empty ). Check the bowl drain right after it dies, see if it's empty. If not that then maybe your CDI, might try swapping back to the stock one..

if so i think it is your regulator
