Default Got rid of the DS

Well, it has been fun talking to all of you guys over the last year and a half, but the ds is now gone. The swingarm was the last straw, and I just can't keep dumping money in to it. It was also not near as much fun anymore. There just wasn't a challenge riding anymore so I go another toy. This time I got something that scares the hell out of me, and will take a long time to get used to. A honda cr500. I hope to see some of you guys at LS, Oklahoma sometime.
Later,
Justin

You'll come back to four wheels believe me I did, it will just take a few trips to the ER Not trying to scare you or anything because my KX500 is a blast............. when I can keep it on 2 wheels.

I totaled it hill climbing at my local park. I could fix it, but I am just tired of spending tons of money on it. I went through all the receipts for the time I owned it and in less than two years I spent $9500.00 on it and most of that was repair parts. I just can't afford to keep doing it. The other thing is I was so confident in it that I wasn't afraid to try anything, and one of these times it was going to bite me hard.

Did you part it out on ebay? If so, how did you come out?

I had insurance on it and I just got $4700 for it. I didn't think that was too bad.

I am picking up a chest protector monday along with new boots and probably a new helmet. I just got back in from riding it, and it should be fun.
