TBR a-arm question

Default TBR a-arm question

Anybody on here have a TBR front end? I was wondering if it allows you to lower your stance while retaining the long travel?

Yes, I just got my DS back togeter and will be going out for a test run Sat with the new setup A-arms and swing arm.

I wish I would have gone with the old style for MX. if you run 20in mx tires in front you only have 9in of groud clearance at max!

now that I think about it if any one wants to trade there old style (TBR) for the new style let me know! (a arms only)

The claim that TBR or EPIC, whatever they call themselves these days, have made about this suspension kit that lowers the DS but retains the same amount of travel is wrong unless you run 23inch or taller tires. Thus meaning that you have raised the DS back up to where you started. What is the advantage in this? Then again I'm not as qualified as those guys at, whatever there name is now, I only have fifteen years exprience in building suspension components and they have what two or maybe three years exprience. Take this however you want but here are the facts. They claim they lower the DS 1.5 inches but then they run 23 to 25 inch tall tires again meaning that your right back where you started if you want to use all the travel. Or to use smaller tires you have to give up travel. That sounds like a good kit to me, NOT.

just think about this, who else make strong well built a arms for the ds?

Dsracer666 you letting you mouth over load it self. I know TBD knows how to set up a DS for racing. He has done it in the past but not now.
