Gas Caps Vented ot Non-vented?

Default Gas Caps Vented ot Non-vented?

I would like to buy one of theose billet gas caps, but all seem to be vented.......OEM is not.
Any issue with that?
Opinions?

Default Gas Caps Vented ot Non-vented?

just cap the vent tube on the tank. and throw the hose over your shoulder when you get the new cap.

The stock venting system sucks. Like Bus said, pinch the stock tube off, then cut off the excess and get a cap thats vented.

Where is the OEM vent tube?

on the filler neck, below the tank cover. remove tank cover and you cant miss it.

Why go through the hassle of capping the stock vent? Why not leave it then you will have two vents incase one gets blocked.

Because the vents in the billet aluminum gas gaps dont get clogged and I hate having to unwind that darn hose everytime I remove the tank. Plus, that hose can unwind on its own, I dont like the idea of a hose filled with gas vapors unwinding and coming near the exhaust pipe header.
