I sure do like those Z-400's, if I wasn't 6'-8" tall I'd have one with the Yoshi 440 kit and be a very happy camper.
but since I'm a giant the DS is the only machine in existence for me and I thank the Quad Gods every day for blessing the earth with the Bombardier family.

 

IN 2c worth, it really depends on what u want out of your quad. i rode both the DS and crappy both in the dunes before i bought. i liked how the crappy was easy to whip around and get the front end up but at the end of the day my arrrs was hurtin. what i liked about the DS was 1 the seat 2 i like the front wheels with more time on the sand when going up steep dunes 3 its sweet being able to see your front tires 4 only having to deal with one carb 5 the lighting on the baja is day and night to the crappy 6 i like being 1 out of 100 having a DS rather than having a crappy and being 1 outta 3.

 

Raptors are more focus on a trail bike now.

 

that is what yamaha was trying to make when they disighed( sorry bout the spelling) it. it wasnt ment to be an mxer or anything like that. it just adaps well to all conditions
