Sand conditions are a huge thing to consider when your deciding on what tire pressure. I run between 5-7 on my 22's extremes. Start with higer tire pressure and work down until you start hooking up. Its easier to deflate then add air.

I run an even larger range, 3-13. The sand drag track gets watered down a lot and the sand gets very heavy.
