A ranger tested my bike over the weekend and blew a 105dB with the end cap. Two other DS's I was with were running FMF T4 pipes and posted 100dB. Just thought I would pass along.

I belive that I wear ear plugs with mine its ok in the trails but flat out sraights it gets a little loud.

Luckily no. It could have been an expensive day if he had written us all up. $130 for dB compliance + $270 for no sparky.
The ranger was one of the coolest I have ever met and let us all off with warnings. He was more or less looking to inform us about what we needed to change rather than be a hard @ss and write us up.

 

Maybe it was $170 for no sparky. Cant remember. Either way it would have been expensive ~$300 he said.

Just so I don't have to deal with this again I'm going to ditch the endcap for an HMF slip-on with sparky and carry the quiet core in my truck.
