welcome to the connection Thumper

the Fox air shocks are very new, not alot of them out there yet, there is one guy on here I know recently got a pair - Billds650
in my opinion they are a bit too new to get a good reliability rating on. a few months ago Dirtwheels did a test of the Fox's and one of them blew a seal during the test.

I like my Fox Float so far no problems. The ones in Dirtwheels were fix by Fox and they had no more problems with them.

I have a set of Elka quad rate front and triple rate rear and they work great. Big improvement over stock.

If money is no object, go with king shocks. They are awesome. Also, its cool to drink beers around camp with your buds while admiring your king shocks!!!!!!!!!!

I ride 99% trails and tracks. I am 6'5" and 290 and get some nice air and they land very plush. They are adjustable so when you hit the track you can firm them up and soften them again when you hit the trails. It takes a good day to figure out both of the settings for trail and track but it is well worth it.
