Default HELP!!!!!!!!!!

i cut off the batt brackets and bolted (the stock) battery craddle under the seat up high ( no more tool kit ) enough so you can't even see the batt at all. must use a gel batt because it will be laying on it's side. throw away the stock air box and go with a snow pre-charger direct mount K/N air-filter and you'll be all set.

Do a search on "PPD". THey make a nice airbox that houses the battery and rectifier. Johnnyairtime has pics on his site

Default HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Thumber,

The only thing good about moving your battery over is getting off the side. It is a little ugly there, and if you ride rock trails the potential of battery damage is probably a little more right there on the side. Honda took care of this problem by putting a rubber drape over the side mounted battery. If you do move the battery to the inside, you'll still have quite a bit battery support frame members attached to the subframe. You could cut that off and re-powder coat or paint your subframe. There are various battery boxes out there that can dress up the battery if you decide to leave it there.

Marky
