Wide band oxygen sensor??
I have done several searches to try and find a wide band Oxygen sensor LCD display and cannot find anything that is for an exterior application and works for a wide band. It has to be a WIDE BAND display. I keep finding the car applications. I also already have the oxygen sensor and only want the lcd display. Has anyone ran across one or know where I might find one?? Thanks for the help

Wide band oxygen sensor??
there are a couple, but very pricey, around $1000.
there might be a do it yourself kit that is cheaper - i.e. build the circuit board yourself.
what sensor do you have? Bosch LSM-11? Bosch LSM-4 UEGO?
you might be better off using an EGT gauge.
after your repeated piston damage, I'd be thinking there might be an air/fuel ratio problem, so you need one gauge or the other.

This is solution, but needs a PLX controller:
click me
This is the required controller:
Click me now.
I'm with Scooby, I'd get a exhaust temp gauge first. At least then you can safely switch fuels.

Wide band oxygen sensor??
Majorecho just welded in another bung and hooked up the normal O2 sensor and the 79$ gauge. He has two bungs but alot less money. at that price I think I will go Majorecho's direction. I was worried if the egt would give me some false readings due to the turbo being so hot. Maybee the turbo does not cause any different fluxuations in the exhaust gas temps.

Wide band oxygen sensor??
here is another for $349: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lm1.php
looks like prices have come down.
i'm trying to figure out if range of these meters/sensors is wide enough for alcohol.
OOPS, already posted above.
(I just checked the documentation on the LM-1 and you can use it with methanol).
