not sure if thats how to spell it but how do i check to see if my magneto is gone? mines an 02 baja and when i jump it it runs fine but then stall it and i wont even make a sound try a new battery first? check some connections? if so how and where i dont know to much about this quad thanks guys

 

If you're still on your original battery I've got money on it being the battery.

Stator failures are probably more common from broken cranks than from them just going bad. In other words, very unlikely.
