my trail tech computer on my ds is not working ,,,,i installed the compuet dashboard thursday , i drilled the hub for the sensor and used the bolt not the magnet you glue ,, i drove it all over the street to test , it worked flawless , when i got to the dunes this last trip no the computer would not turn on when you drive meaning the computer is not getting a sgnal right??? i can turn it on manually but no speed reading , i checked the hub and sensor its all fine no breaks in the cable and magnet to sensor is perfect ,, im out of options , i called the dealer and they are sending out a new cable free of charge ,real good people there,,if anyone can help me solve my problem or has had this problem please let me know , im thinking i can ohm the sensor from the bracket , if i can please post ....thanx randy

as hippyhunetr said. the only time I had problems with mine, is when the head unit was not snapped all the way in. and the sensor gap was to big. it was real big. cause my magnet fell off.

Mine has the same problem. I replaced the cable and it worked for one trip. I still have to swap out the unit with my brothers to see what the issue is. If anyone finds out let us all know.

Moisture in the contacts caused mine to wack out
took off the computer, dried off the connections, and it worked fine after that. Maybe the routing of the cable is picking up some sort of interferiendce from an outside source scrambling the signal?
