I think brp is aiming more towards sleds than there atv line-up they already have the 06 sled models up but no atv's my reason for saying this is that they are supposed to come out with a new outlander model with a 800 v-twin for 06 My own opinion there not a real player in the atv line. Dont get me wrong they did build a awsome sport quad but thats about it.

well i also believe the 06 yamaha's snowmobiles are also out,the atv industry doesn't work the same as the snowmobile, ski-doo(brp) has always tried leading the way in the snowmobile industry and they have been doing very very well with the rev chassis released in 03, they probably sell alot snowmobiles vs atvs even with atvs steadily on the rise, don't be dissapointed that they have not released anything yet, have any other atv companies released photos and info on the 06 models?

I dont jump on the bomb site that much....but in one of the shoot outs in atv magazine, they chose not to participate in the big bore one...so I would be assuming something new is coming next year

Gotta use all of the 05 sales year to sell the ones they have on the market. It kills their sales of current models if they introduce the next better one early. Then the customer waits.......and the dealer loses by having non-currents in stock. Wait and be patient. Good things are coming.....

Sled, ATV, watercraft, etc, etc, etc. are not released at the same time. This is true for just about every manufacturer, not just BRP. New model year ATV's from BRP don't start showing up at dealers til around August.

I seen 1 of the '06 ski-doo's on a poster in a dealership... I don't know which model is was, might've been the summit, but it was a lot different than the '05's. I useally don't pay attention to ski-doo that much, since i ride a polaris when it comes to sledding

They should lean a lot more towards sleds...

They sell many, many more sleds every year than they do atvs despite shorter and less rideable winter seasons. They only make a fraction of the number of atvs than they do sleds, and they sell the sleds for more money. They continue to sell SDI 2 strokes when every other company is shying away and producing heavy 4 stroke machines, yet still offer 4 strokes for those that desire them. Sleds have been their business for decades, atvs are a relatively new idea for them and certainly not their primary objective.
