Default Question about helicoil?

one of the smaller bolts that come up from the bottom to heold my head on specifically the one on the back of the head below the intake feels really weird when i torque it down, kinda like it is stripped but the threads look good inside and on the bolt, the other smaller bolts torque fine so i am thinking cause i have my head off now maybe i should put a helicoil in it so how much are they and how hard or should i tap it to the next bigger size bolt and go with that? any suggestions? thanks fellas

I believe that bolt is a M8, I'd say drill it out for a M10, there is plenty of meat around that area. ( I replaced all my M8 to M10's)That will hold up better than a helicoil long term.

you will need to have the head off to drill it out and tap it, a local machine shop would be able to do it, I'd expect they might charge you 20$
