Its all a matter of motor assembly and combo's, Just buy one and see for yourself. We are all not Phsycic here ya know. There are too many variables to give you a straght answer. Just do something, Bandwith is getting smaller.LOL

 

is there any 730's out there with nitrous yet, ds viper rode the 730 against my 720 at ds days, so i would say it would be a 720 at this point on a sand mt. in nevada, there is a 830 that might be for sale last i heard that seems to be king so far. like annilator said every machine has a chance.

 

guess you may need your question answered a little better, a nitrous 720 will hand a 800 on engine only it's a$$ it's not a race. the thing about 720 - 730 is they rev, so on the flats the torque of the stroked engine isn't noticed as much, on the long hill the 800 will pull a 720 all things equal, but nitrous more than overcomes the difference. spend the 1000 there on your stoke machine you will see what you want to know, when it works good it feels like this.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

have you ran nitrous bikes, first time i ran into jeff it wasn't a pleasant experience felt like the skin was being sand blasted off my face, there isn't any varible i can think off to make them even/

 

Sandman430 are you talking about your 720 on NOS or Jeffinrivercity 830 on NOS? No I haven't riden on NOS DS or against a NOS DS. Until now I have only riden my DS on all motor as of now. I do know that their are some that will not run on all motor against all motor.

My only question is if I put my motor on NOS does that make me unbeatable?

 

well the bomb said when he didn't put the nitrous jets in and had about a 200 hp shot it seemed unbeatable, didn't last long though. but no nitrous won't make you unbeatable. the question was what is better 720 on nitrous or a 800, the strokers aren't as quick as most seem to think. having rode 760 pami , 800 turbo, 800 nitrous. raced 830 on alky with nitrous, 760 on alky, hpr 730, there isn't a hugh difference between these engines, there is where your right set up comes in. dsviper showed at ds days and kicked butt with some simple mods, he was probably less than 2000 bucks and was hurting 450 feelings all day. the nitrous was the big difference, i'm pretty sure the way he was running he could have put it to the 800, with the 650 machine he was running, seems it was stock, except for a 46 carb modded intake and a boonedockers, system.

 

The way your bike is set up is the key to winning a race....Yes My 800 got beat in the builders class race, but it also beat all the bikes it lost to in that one race more than once....The problem my bike had at 4SW's was keeping the front end down.....4sw's was the first time my 800 had seen the sand. We (Eric, Randal and myself) did the best that we could as far as setting up the bike that weekend.....My 800 is a great machine and has tons of power, and it is now sitting lower with different paddles and bars plus a set of dual carbs....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
