hey does anyone know about the spring from the 2000 ds? i heard about cutting the 01, but i think they changed the spring from 00 to 01 didnt they? also about drilling in the vaccume ports to 1/8th, does that apply to the 00 also.
any responses would be great, thanks

 

yes the spring from 00 to 01 is diffrent. the 00 is not as stiff/thick as 01 I had to change my 00 to a 01 cuz it wasnt closing the slide all the way upon choping throttle. it was back firing through the carb. I still cut the 01 3 coil and still worked ok.

 

search the old posts about "cutting carb spring" posted by oldmanracing he was talking about drilling out the vacum ports also
