gearing/tires
I did do a search, by It did not answer all my questions.
I have a 2005 Ds 650 X and I recently put 22' bearclaws on, yesterday I went ridind and took my GPS with me and I only got 105km/h at 6500 RPM (which was the highest it would rev to. Which is about 10km/h than my stock wore down to nothing. I want to what gearing do I need to get my top speed faster than it was with the stock tires and to get my RPM up the stock rev limiter.
Thanks

Stock your tire and gearing is:
20" tires
40 tooth rear sprocket
16 tooth front sprocket
when you go to a 22" rear tire you need to change the gearing to compensate to get close to stock again. To do that try:
40 tooth rear
15 tooth front
or
43 tooth rear
16 tooth front
If you want your top speed to go higher you need to go the other way with the gearing.
Bear Claws are very very heavy tires. And if you make the gearing to tall you'll actually loose top speed unless the grouind is dead level or down hill
