Big,

You got a MONSTER of a machine. How did you get bored of it so fast? Man I know all too well about the money pit thing. I know you had a TVI kit and had to ditch that for your HPR setup. It is costly. Brush it aside for a while then take another view at it and see if that is what you REALLY want to do.

Bombsaint, I feel your pain. I've been there too.

The problem is OUR EGO's!!!!!! we (most of us on this forum) cant stand to leave well enough alone I am putting a freaking 150 HP engine in my DS cause I want to go FAST and still be on Pump gas. But to be honest , sometimes I REALLY miss the days, when my DS was stock, with just a KN and modified endcap. I had just asmuch fun racing other piped quads, but hey!!! I CANT LEAVE **** ALONE!

Thier has to be counseling availible for us somewhere!

Its a terrible habit we have. But, admitting to it is the first sign of recovery.

I totally agree,

My gixxer project is half finished. My first race is this weekend, and Im not going to make it. I have a few more races in early may. Chances are, Im not going to make them either. Everything was fine last year with the HPR genesis motor. I needed more. So, Ive been building this thing, and not riding. It is a money pit. A few bucks here, a few there. Its adding up. The money is not the biggest issue for me, its just the fact that I cant keep my hands off these things, and am constantly tearing things apart and rushing to make a ride. What is wrong with us. LOL Or just me.

Its the what if gene I have!!!!

Gary

Can I join your group as a Honda rider? My wife tells me that I have it apart more than I have it together, ans she only knows about half of what I do.
BigBaja, I for one, was more than kind of impressed with your ride at FSW. It was my favorite big boire there, FOR SURE!
Stick around.
