Yea.... I was there and lost a few. Namely to SandPig (I think that's what Mario told me his name was). But other than him, I MOPPED A BUNCH OF SLEDS. My DS handled all 315lbs up the hill. Of course I was spraying a 25 shot of the juice [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

To give you an idea:
05 YFZ 450 with an over-bore and head work, torched me by about 5 - 6 lengths straight up. Then on the juice I took him by about 4 - 5 lengths. He asked what the he!! happened, and I simply pointed to my bottle. He shook me off and then shook my hand. I don't think that he was expected all 6'10" of me to unweight the sled.

Mopped some quadzilla's REAL bad on the juice, and a bunch of TRX450's. This is all being done with a 125psi compression check, and simple RWR 11.5:1 piston. Couldn't of been more happy with the bike. heaven knows whats going to happen with a fresh set of Gapless Rings and a little head work.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Torched a couple of guys on DS's but they didn't even want to talk about it. Fess up people.... who are you. A couple of big boys on Yellow sleds and a couple guys w/vipors like mine. Come on....... speak up.


Not sure if we'll be getting too many more days like that out there, Saturday was Sick NICE. Pretty quick it's going to be 125*F in the bowls.

Sort of..... his words: "Dude, I tried using it, but everytime I hit the button the front end would start to come up". Of course my next question was why didn't you just lean forward? I guess he just didn't feel comfortable. so yes and no... I think the second race was much closer, but still not in the ball park. You did real well against Mario, but he's shooting like a 1000hp shot!!!!!! I should of had Mario pilot my sled, but I didn't see him on Saturday.

As far as me racing.... Our first race, I got waxed! Our second race when I was on the juice was closer, but not close at all. Your sled runs real nice. I'll definitely take a little of that when I re-ring and work the head. What do you have workin in your monster?

I've got a Pami 703 in there.

It has dual 39mm FCR , direct mount UNI filters. with a CT exhaust.

And that's it.

Oh yea, an MSD ignition too.

I've lightened it up a little but not very much, YET! That's this summer's project. Including a longer swingarm. That's why you were out in front early, I didn't GIVE you ahead start. I just suck out of the hole.

I didn't get a chance to shoot up there but I would have liked to. I would not even be close to keeping up with you guys, but I would have loved to watch. I'm just down the highway from both of you. Instead I went on all the miles out here of desert trail riding and found out that some of these rednecks in the hills are crazy. I had a guy pull a rifle on me and threated to kill me for "trespassing". They clame all sorts of land and put up random fences....

 

yea Al, I'd love to see what's under the hood. Your bike runs stong. I think Mario probably had you buy about 5 - 6 lengths, but you're not on the juice. All props to Mario though.... he's struggling with his carb right now. But if I know Mario, he's probably already got something else in mind. I live in Henderson. Do you ride that monster in the desert at all? I've got a GREAT ride that will tax you as much as you want it to. 40.2 miles round trip, and it takes us right to the river's edge. I used to ride around in it, but since I lost my Airbox, I don't do it now.

Monkey, the more DS guys, the better. We've got some places out by me that you have to be careful. I think the people where I live are just practicing for gang members though. They don't put up with a lot of shanannagans out here.

 

I might have to drop you guys a line sometime and go riding up there. We have our local Poker Run this weekend and I'm just waiting for my rear suspension back from Works... It's being over nighted to me so I can throw it in and get it tuned for the run. If you guys are ever in the area to ride or hang out on the river, let me know. BTW; name's Phil.

Bigdaddy.............They are having gang member practice out in hendertucky? Very nice. I love what is happening out in Vegas. Last spring my son and I were riding out at pitman and he got pummeld by some paint *****. They had a paint ball combat zone out there. Thank goodness it was only paintballs......lol
