Well as it stands of right now there will be only five classes for the 2005 Aledo Nationals,

(1) Four-Stroke: 400cc and above, any fuel or power additive, must be in OEM FRAME, no exceptions, wheely bars, extended swing arm are excepted.

(2) Four-Stroke: 400cc and under, pump gas or race fuel excepted. No Alky! If you have another power additive you will be considered in the above class, OEM FRAME no exceptions. Wheely bars and extended swing arms allowed.

(3) Two-Stroke: 350cc and above, same as (1) Four Stroke class. No Exceptions!

(4) Two-Stroke: 350cc and under, No Alky. same as (2) Four Stroke class. No exceptions..

(5) Kids classes, 50cc, 80cc, 90cc, maybe even up to 250EXcc will be considered.

* OEM FRAME. means what ever you quad came with as far as an engine must still have that engine, nothing extended in front of the frame will be allowed.

The Aledo Nationals started out as a few guys coming out and racing till dark. Who ever won was the fastest of the weekend. No Classes! If we try to put to many classes together we will be racing untill midnight the next day. Lets just make a good time and have fun racing. If you don't win who cares there will be next year. biggrin.gif

Also only running 300ft. NO 660ft

That's a long drive for a lot of us to only get to run 1 class of 300ft. At least if you were running the same class in the 660ft there would be 2 class to run??? Think about it???

I hear what your saying. It's a long trip for many to run just one class or race & be done.

That's alright, I guess we can find a new track to race in June, New York sounds good- I've never been there. Either it's a National, or it's a "few guys coming out and racing till dark". With those classes, I suspect it will be the latter!

I guess it all depends on whether you want a crack at the Craycraft Raptors, I suspect some folks will still drive a long way to get their shot.

I understand wanting to keep it simple but what about the quads that fall between turbo, NOS 800cc+ and piped 400EX's?

It looks like Aledo is going down hill fast. Better give the people a little more to choose from on the race floor mat. I dout if very many besides locals show for 1 class.

At least before you had a Stock (any bolt ons, no breaking motor bolts loose other than clutch), Modified( anything goes, no power adders), and Anything goes class( Just what it says ), all running 300 and 660.

Do that with the 4-stroke rules you already have(split by CC) and you will have your crowd.

When everybody went out to Sicily Island there were no classes, no lights and nobody complained. Everybody had a great time. We have five classes and some are complaining.

I really thought you guys liked to race.
