Default question on armadillo arms (fast)

hi,

i just bought +2 armadillo arms for my ds 650. i am putting the ball joints on it and when the nut that goes on the ball joint to lock it cant fit because it hits the tab. here is some pictures to understand my problem:

i wanna know if the nut that came with the kit goes like 'inside' the tab or 'outside'.

thanks!

i got the armadillo arms. you got it all wrong. first of all you put a nut on the ball joint. thread it all the way down to the base. i mean thread it all the way on. THEN thread it into the arm. you should have about five threads coming out of the backside of the hole the ball joint threads into. now tighten the nut back towards the arm until it meets with the arm and then tighten it down. there is no nut in the backside of the arm. . good luck.
