Silver Lake opened this weekend..just curious if anyone was there and can report the dune conditions? Last year, the flats (drag area) was flooded and under water most of the summer, whats it like this year??

 

Some people from another forum went and from the pictures they have been showing there is still a heck of a lot of water there.

A guy from college that I know went. He said alot of water...not as much as before.....Lots of wind. and the the hills didnt seem as steep going up but the way down was alot steeper.....

 

Pretty much the same as last yr.A little less water.Watch out for exposed posts
on the flats next to the hills.A kid clipped one of them and went for a ride to the hospital.
The only reason it caught my eye is a little bit of red was stapled to it at one time.
Had a blast sat we rode till dusk and sun till 3.I can tell i havent rode in a while.I am sore in
muscles i forgot i had.
