Is thier any word of a DS650 that has a smaller foot print that could be ridden in the woods?

It would be nice if they had plans for a DS400.

If I hit a tree, the last thing that I will be worried about is the composition of my A-arms! I'll probably be more concerned about my own arms! You know as well as I do that if you hit a tree, something is going to bend or break. I just hope that it's the quad and not me!

You are only talking about 7 inches wider than a banshee,raptor,400 ex ect..I have had no problems riding in the woods. The trails that are narrow are narrow for any of these quads.Compare the specs, You will see there is not much differance. All trails are not the same width as every quad out there. It would be hard to belive all trails are exactly 43.5 inches.

daz,
i hear you man. i have had no problems with riding my ds in the woods. all this crap about it being too wide is bs. now if all i ever rode was woods trails i might have considered a different quad, but i have had no problems keeping up with my buddies banshee and 400ex in trails.

Well, all I ride is woods trails. Right now I'm on a Blaster. So jumping to the DS would be a big jump.

The reason I like the DS over all others is it's Rotax motor and the fine engineering that went into this quad. That's why I am wondering if their was plans for a smaller quad. Something like the Cannondale FX400.
