just wondering what is the best time for a ds in 300 foot on dirt. And what mods do you have.

i run a 5.88 at 50.3mph on sand with a pipe and jet kit on my 05 z400

 

Remember that what one bike runs on a 300' track will be different than on another 300' track. It's just like a dyno, what you run on one might be different than another. JMO

I will see if I can get any 300' times at the planet sand event this weekend. I will just be a spectator with camera.

 

Sand or dirt or just type of surface makes a big difference. Ill give you some times after Gilbert this weekend. Not my times but others. Probably some sick times

 

Well some 4.5's have already been turned on test and tune...I can only imagine what kind of times they are going to turn throughout the weekend on a 4-stroke...I agree they will be sick!

 

on a stock ds i've seen 5.9- 6.4 in sand mods take it down from there, high 4's have been seen by several of the mod ds's

 

Im looking for 4.2-4.3's out of the fast YFZ's at Planet Sand Drags in Gilbert. Im impressed by a 4.5 out of a DS for sure!
