Default stock carb dumping fuel

hey guys, i'm having a problem. when i turn on the gas, i hear the fuel filling up the float and it doesn't stop. it starts running out the overflows above the carb. someone told me to tap the carb cuz the float might be sticking but that isn't working. what else can i try? thanks

other than taking it apart and cleaning it. one thing that seems to work for me on my kids blaster. is to start it with gas off. start riding. turn the gas on. since it is running it will burn most of the gas coming in. and the heat and vibration (I asume) makes everything start working properly again.

Im having the same problem, turns out that the o-ring on the float seat was bad and the needle screw was over tightened and feul was also leaking past that. Sounds like your having one of these problems or your floats are stuck. I had enough with the stock carb, i just ordered a 450r keihin carb for it. Check out the thread poor mans upgrade. Good luck!
