I am interested in the 2005 outlander 400 and would like to know how reliable this atv is?
Any problems or quirks I can expect if I buy one?
Would you buy another outlander?
How does it compare to other atvs?
Lastly, how is the front diff set up on this quad, Is it a great 4-wheel drive system, any problems?

THe outlander is a great atv! It has been atv of the year 3yrs in a row for it's class. I have been working on atv's for a while now..I have seen NO issues with the outlander. I would love t oown one just for hunting. The handle great ..Better ride than anything in it's class... The 4-wheel drive system is great.. I have only worked on one front end in 2 1/2 yrs and it was bad from the factory.. Hope this helps you out ! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

I have a 2004 outlander, i like it a lot, but it will be my last bombardier machine. Bombadier is a really bad company to deal with, there customer service i a real joke! If your lucky and don't have problems then everything will be ok, but if you have a problem and have to deal directly with Bombardier you will have problems.

Dont get me wrong tho, they have a good product that compets well with other products, but their service is realy realy bad so that is y i wouldn't recomend a Bombardier.

I bought my 04 outy late last fall and love it. No issues at all. The ride is awsome like sitting in your favorite lazyboy. It will run with most 500cc 4x4s. If your dealer is good you shouldnt have any issues at all with any unforseen problems. My dealer is very helpfull. I will go back to buy another bomb atv in the future. Check out atvfrontier.com there is a lot of info on there about the outy.

 

No problems or issues with our 05 Outlander MAX. Hauls the 2 of us anywhere we want to go and is a great ride! Handling is very predictable, plenty of power, and is proving very dependable.

 

i like my 04 outlander 400. I've only ridden it 3 miles so far though, just got it a week ago, lol.
