I need a carb.

To make a long story short, the prevoius owner run the air screw down tight and I broke the carb body trying to get it out. So, I need a new carb. Should I get a stocker, or are there "upgrades" that would be worth my time? It's a 2000 w/ a big gun exhaust.

Well, I guess the first question that you should ask yourself is how much money do I want to spend..... If you dont mind spending a few extra dollars this would be a very good time for an upgrade. I dont know about you, but I always look for a good excuse for an upgrade

check the garage thread, there`s a lectron 44 on some ones shelf,
and there may be others
the tm 45 is a good carb for the $ if you can pick one up second hand, the lectron 46 is great but might be a bit over budget.
you could get a stock carb for a lot less than $200
