Well I have been watching the prices on the 05 650X drop alittle here and alittle there over the last serveral months in hopes that it would get down to my price range. There are shops in town selling them for 6000.00 OTD and I was just wondering should I start to work on the wife to see if I can spend that or should I wait and see if it continues to drop. I know the 06 models should be announced here pretty soon and if they actually bring a new model to market I think the 650X might drop another couple hundred. Im in no hurry as my 97 warrior still runs like a champ, but damn I love the look or the 650 and if the price is right why not take the plunge. So when did everyone else drop the bomb and pick one up

I've heard them go as low as $5,500. It depends on geographics and the time of year. Personally I would not wait to see if it will drop another $500. or so because you will spend allot more once you get it........Right guys!!!!..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

These things are addictive. If you work hard i would say treat yourself to the ds. Once you get it you will never get back on that warrior. Lifes short ,enjoy it.

 

I want the DS and have for some four years now, the question is do I chance them selling through all their inventory. Im not too worried as there are a lot of DS dealers here in the valley Im just wanting the best deal. I cant stand buying somethign only to turn around and have it go on sale the next week for a lot less

You said there are a lot of Bomb dealers in your area. Playing one against another should help bring the price down a little....just my $.02....

 

Aaron you'll find out that here ,they sell threw them pretty fast when i brought my new one it was the last one in and around town...

 

I bought my 05 DS650X in august of 04, just had to have it! Its the first and only bike i will ever own! Go get one!!
