It seams there are more turbo/efi guys out there then just EFI. For me the EFI is working great and am looking forward to the update, it sounds promising. Working with Kelly at KMS has been great, he knows his stuff and likes to talk. Check out my web page for a full write and pictures on the EFI instal.
I was just an EFI guy. I liked it so well I decided to go with the turbo to. I think you will really like the self learn update. On the dyno it added almost 4 HP and 2 lb of torq.

The dyno sheet I have is a Non Turbo quad. The quad it was tested on was a 686 raptor on gas

So this non turbo 686 raptor had the "tune on the fly" software with the wide band O2 and then upgraded to the "self learn" software and gained 4hp and 2lbs of torqe? The only change was the software?

From what I understand there won't be any need for ANY user input/tuning.

Thanks Bassetboy!
As for tuning the new EFI you are correct there will be no need to tune it. If for some reason you did feel the need to tune it the computer would just change it back.

I guess I need to get my DS over to KMS to get the upgrade.

The last upgrades Kelly did on my bike really got it running good. It dynoed at 65 HP with 5#s of boost on Av Gas, and this is before the self learn. I am also getting a larger diameter exhaust pipe tso I can run a silencer and spark arrestor. Kelly says that should also increase the performance, at least according to his testing.

He said my dune riding style, and some of the tuning problems I gave him to work out because of my riding style, inspired him to develope the self learn upgrade. these turbo and efi bombs are awesome, it makes me want to get one so i can put the efi on it and possibly the turbo too.
efi is going for around $1,400 right? Is that with install and everything or no?

You know KMS makes turbo’s and EFI kits for Raptors, DS650s YFZ450s, TRX450s and EX400s as for the price they are about 1395.00 you have to install it your self. The kit comes with everything you need down to the wire ties.
