i have an 2001 ds with stock exhaust . i just bought a new take offf from a 2005 x. the header pipe is made different. looks more like a tuned header with larger tubes. also there is no provision for the heat shield. looks like it should fit, also looks better than my stock one. does anyone know anything about this?? thanks chiknhawk.

My buddy's whole exhaust is in my garage. His is an 05. It's the same as my 03.

 

I talked to a buddy of ,ime and he said it looked like an aftermarket piece. He had a white bro. on a Craptor, and he said it looked like it. Did white bro make one for the ds??

 

White bro's makes slip on's but not a full system for the DS. At least not that I have seen yet. Thats not to say someone hasn't modified a withe bro's slip on with someone elses header though. Just a thought.

 

The easy solution is to take a picture of it and post it.
