Default Air scoops(worth the money?)

Hey i have a ds650 baja x with the baja lights...i am not getting rid of the lights i need them. I have always felt the ds runs a bit hot and was wondering if the air scoops actually work and would be worth the money? Also what air scoops fit over the baja lights? Thanks for any replies.

I cant remember which ones I have but I do like them. Instead of using the top mount for the scoops I just rivited them to the baha light housing. works fine so far. Ill try to get some pictures posted soon. Next is to get the pipe coated. My bro. has his coated and it does make a big diffrence. After I drag it I put back in 3rd gear and my guage rarely goes over 160. and the fan basicly never comes on.

I dunno how much cooler it keeps the engine, it must help a lil bit cause the scoops r huge and def effect the air supply, but they look sweet too. I got the CT Racing shrouds and they fit over my Baja lights, its a tight fit and u gotta put some force on them to bolt down the front plastics since they attach there but its not so bad, i like mine, check my pics to see em
